Yracema, Sweden

Yracema (29) is dance performer/teacher of latin-american background currently living in Sweden.

She has studied and performed Oriental dance and Latin American dance since childhood.
In recent years she has developed a Tribal Fusion style, inspired by Persian dance, Flamenco and Taichi.
In her passionate and spiritual approach to the art, she has the profound ability to capture an ageless and timeless beauty within her dance.
She is an enthusiastic and sensitive teacher able to pass the gracefullness and natural feeling of the movement.
No previous knowledge and no special clothes required.
Content: The Workshop will be a variation of Tribal Fusion Dance, with more focus on our inner energy, the energy around us and between us.

Short explanation of the content:

Strengthening qi-gong exercises
- to gather and focus our qi (life energy).
- to come down to earth into our bodies, to be here and now.
- to relax, warm up, stretch and strengthen the body.

Body Posture
- essential for a healthy body-mind
- foundation for the smooth flow of qi

Music
- rhythm and the melody serve as the basis of our dance

Tribal Dance
- soft, slow conscious movements
- circular and flowing movements
- fast and strong movements
- coordination
- expression (passion, sadness, creativity, happiness, relaxation, emptiness)

Every body movement is an expression of our inner energy.
These movements help to loosen the tensions in the body and the mind, to strengthen our endurance and to maintain a healthy body structure.
We are dancing within our own bodies, yet we are also harmoniously connected together as a group.(That's an important part of the tribal dance; we are not individual people dancing focused only on ourselves, we are a tribe dancing together)

Partner Exercises
- helping each other to feel the dance movements and to feel the energy between us.

Stretching Exercises
- to open and extend the connective tissues and muscles within the body.
- vital for continuous qi flow.

Workshop will be taken at Druna, Karlovo náměstí 24, Praha 2.
